The number of Egyptian citizens inside the country will reach 90 million at 9:55 p.m. on Sunday, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said.

CAPMAS will hold a press conference on Saturday to announce the size of the population, the agency said.

CAPMAS Chairman Abu Bakr el Gendy will address the issue of overpopulation and its negative fallout on economic and social development.
