President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday issued a presidential decree approving the promotions movement for the diplomatic and consular corps members.

Some 13 ambassadors were promoted to the excellent degree and 21 others were promoted to the ambassador degree.

The movement also included the appointment of 31 minister plenipotentiaries, 36 counsellors, 35 first secretaries, 35 second secretaries and 40 diplomat attachés.
