Presidential Secretary Tareq Afifi visited the Yemeni Embassy in Cairo on Tuesday to extend President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's congratulations on the 25th National Day of Yemen.

Afifi conveyed Sisi's wishes for Yemen to progress, prosper and achieve security and stability, a statement by the Yemeni Embassy said.

Yemen's chargé d'affaires Mohamed al Huysami conveyed President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi's best regards to Sisi.

He hailed as "deep" relations between Sanaa and Cairo.
