Mahmoud Khalaf, an adviser at Nasser Higher Military Academy, asserted that the Egyptian-Russian military relations have been developed during President Abdel Fattah al Sisi's era.

Egypt's vision suggests that major powers have to agree on achieving peace and development in the Middle East as well as cooperating to face terrorism and extremism, Khalaf told Sputnik on Saturday.

He pointed out to Russia's support to Egypt during the October War in 1973.
