Security forces on Saturday launched several campaigns nationwide to arrest outlaws, fugitives and holders of unlicensed weapons.

In Minya, the crackdown led to the arrest of three people and seizure of nine firearms and amounts of drugs.

Also, 1,554 traffic violations have been recorded and 31 unregistered motorbikes were seized.

In Qena, police arrested three criminals with amounts of drugs in possession.
