A conscript, who was killed along with two police officers while they were defusing an explosive charge in Rafah city in North Sinai province, was laid to rest in his hometown in Suez governorate on Thursday.

Hundreds of people, including Suez Governor El Araby el Serwy and a number of police and army leaders, took part in the funeral of the draftee.

The mourners chanted anti-terror slogans, demanding revenge for the slain serviceman.
