Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Said Assar received Wednesday Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Alexander Potapov.

During the meeting, Assar underlined the importance of maintaining joint efforts to fight terror, mourning the victims of the Russian plane which crashed recently in Sharm el Sheikh.

Assar called for promoting cooperation in military industries for the best interest of both countries.

Meanwhile, Potapov underlined the depth of the Egyptian-Russian ties.

Potapov stressed the importance of maintaining bilateral cooperation in various domains, especially in the fields of industrialization and vocational training.
