Egypt's National Coordinating Committee on preventing and combating illegal migration convened Tuesday with its Sudanese counterpart to coordinate efforts in this regard.

The Sudanese delegation was keen to get acquainted with the Egyptian committee's activities and its framework, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Egyptian committee head, Naela Gabr, posted the Sudanese delegation on the committee's activities and stressed preparedness for offering all needed expertise and technical support for the Sudanese committee, read the statement.
