Egyptians abroad greet nation on Sinai Liberation Day

The national front of Egyptians abroad greeted the Egyptian leadership and people over the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day, which falls today.

In a statement Monday, the front said the event crowns an Egyptian epic full of struggle, giving, sacrifices and heroism.

It stressed that it supports the Egyptian soldiers in their war against terrorism.

It also said it backs all steps taken to unify the ranks of the Arab nation, including pioneers move to establish a land bridge between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and a joint Arab taskforce against common challenges.

Sinai Liberation Day is celebrated in Egypt every year on April 25. It commemorates the withdrawal of the last Israeli troops from Sinai in 1982.
