The Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that a number of Egyptians were evacuated from Yemen today via neighboring states.
Efforts are underway to facilitate the evacuation of Egyptians from Yemen via the Saudi and Omani territories, the ministry said.
It added that a number of Egyptians left Yemen via the Aden port en route to the homeland.
The national crisis cell, which groups representatives of various national bodies, is still following up the Egyptians' conditions in Yemen, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aati.
