Former mufti Ali Gomaa called Friday on the Egyptian people to work hard for the progress of Egypt.

On the sidelines of his visit to Kafr El Sheikh governorate, Gomaa said that the Egyptian people should cooperate with the State authorities to fight corruption.

He further spoke of efforts exerted to correct misconceptions about Islam through honing skills of preachers in all fields.
