Cairo - MENA
The Administrative Justice Court decided on Tuesday suspending the implementation of the decision of a committee in charge of confiscating the funds and property of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood including the schools and companies belonging to the group.
The ruling, which was issued by counselor Yehya el-Dakrori, the vice president of the State Council, said the decision ran counter to the law and constitution.
The court said in the reasons of the ruling that the constitutional declaration issued in July last year asserted that the property must be kept safe and cannot be sequestrated.
It said that terrorism poses threat to the country but it must be faced with legal procedures.
