The Egyptian Armed Forces mourned on Friday the death of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdallah ben Abdel Aziz, who died early Friday aged 90.
“The late king will always be remembered for his remarkable legacy and supportive stance towards Egypt and its army,” a statement by the Armed Forces read.
An Egyptian delegation led by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab arrived in Riyadh to attend the funeral and offer condolences to the late king's family.
