Meeting under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab Tuesday, the Cabinet reviewed preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Mahlab stressed the need to take all necessary measures to guarantee a transparent and fair vote, said Cabinet spokesman Hossam el Qawish.

The ministers of local development and education will be tasked with preparing balloting stations and providing care for elderly voters, Qawish said.
