The cabinet convened Wednesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to discuss political, economic, social and security files.
It is also to review preparations for securing the Egyptian street ahead of the January 25 revolution celebrations.
The cabinet is to further probe efforts to attract foreign investments and preparations for the March 13 economic conference in Sharm el Sheikh.
