Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab presided over the weekly meeting of the cabinet on Monday to discuss political, economic and security issues, as well as the latest developments in the region.

The meeting is expected to tackle a report on security conditions and means to face terrorism, as well as another report on Egypt's foreign policy and the participation of the prime minister in the Afro-Asian summit in Indonesia on Wednesday.

The cabinet will discuss a report on the citizens' needs of basic commodities, fuel and gas.
