Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab

The cabinet held its weekly meeting Wednesday under Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to probe political, economic and security files.

The meeting took up also means of fighting terrorism, securing the Egyptian street as well as the latest developments on the Arab and regional arenas.

The cabinet is scheduled to discuss reports about security conditions, securing electricity towers, Egyptian foreign policy, the outcome of the visits of the prime minister as well as ministers to various governorates and citizens' needs.

It will probe the economic issues and efforts exerted to attract foreign investments in light of the new economic laws and the success of the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) held in Sharm el Sheikha last month as well as amending some laws related to the parliamentary elections.
