Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazy attended specialized activities related to developing the combativeness and efficiency of army units and formations at the Nasser Higher Military Academy on Sunday.
The activities are aimed at developing and qualifying the units to carry out their strategic duties in protecting the homeland security at all fronts.
The army's capabilities are the real guarantee for the protection of Egypt's national security in light of the changes befalling the region and threatening its security and stability, Hegazy said.
