Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi has checked on servicemen injured in an attack on a navy ship in the Mediterranean Sea on Wednesday.
The servicemen are being treated in the Galaa military hospital.
Sobhi was accompanied by Chief-of-Staff Mahmoud Hegazi and a number of top brass.
The defense minister wished the injured speedy recovery and return to their duties of defending the homeland.
He appreciated the role played by the Armed Forces in fighting terrorism and addressing challenges facing Egypt.
