Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi delegated Saturday a high-ranking military delegation to offer condolences over the death of Saudi King Abdallah ben Abdel Aziz.
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz died Friday on the age of 90.
The military delegation offered condolences to Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Egypt Ahmad Qattan.
Expressing their sorrow over the loss the Saudi monarch, they praised the prominent leader for his historic and unforgettable stances towards the Arab and Muslim worlds, especially Egypt.
Sobhi has chief of staff Mahmoud Hegazi have sent condolence cables to their Saudi counterparts to condole them over their loss.
