Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi cabled on Wednesday his greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the New Year.
Sedki wished Sisi more success in fulfilling his great responsibilities to create a better future for the country.
He also reiterated the Armed Forces' allegiance and determination to defend homeland against any threats.
Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazi also sent a similar cable to Sisi.
