Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a meeting with a delegation of the Interior Ministry to discuss ways to speed up procedures for issuing new passports for Egyptians abroad.

A number of measures have been taken to accelerate the issuance of mechanized passports for Egyptian expats, said spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati.
