The planned visit by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to Rome was postponed due to a number of internal meetings, Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati said on Wednesday.
Shoukry was scheduled to head for Rome today to attend a three-way meeting on Libya, with participation of representatives of Algeria and Italy.
The Italian Foreign ministry, on its part, announced that the get-together was cancelled due to the absence of the Egyptian foreign minister.
