Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Monday with Omar al-Zawwy, the adviser of Sultan Qaboos of Oman for foreign affairs in Muscat.
Shoukry delivered to the official President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's greetings and appreciation for Sultan Qaboos, said Badr Abdel-Atti, the spokesman for the Egyptian foreign ministry in a statement here.
They hailed strong relations between Egypt and Oman.
The Egyptian top diplomat reviewed the current political and economic developments, said the spokesman.
Earlier today, Shoukry met with his Omani counterpart Youssef ben Alawi in Muscat for talks on developing bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
