Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar reshuffled a limited number of senior positions within the ministry.

Under the decision, his human rights aide would also be responsible for media and information sector of the ministry.

He promoted Maj. General Ahmed Amin Attallah to lead an election commission.

Also, he moved Maj. General Tareq Ezzat from Police Academy to chair the department of investment researches at the ministry.
