Egypt's Mufti adviser Ibrahim Negm called for concerted efforts to restore the true image of Islam.

The remarks were made during a meeting held between Negm and representatives of the Muslim Community in Australia.

Negm warned of terrorism and extremism, saying the real danger is represented in the spread of ideas of extremist groups.
