Egypt's Mufti Shawqi Allam affirmed his full support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to preserve its security and stability in the face of terrorism and extremist groups.

In statements carried by Akaz newspaper, Allam reiterated his rejection of any attempt to interfere in the Saudi internal affairs.

He also rejected the recent attacks on the Saudi embassy and consulate in Iran, highlighting the importance of respecting court rulings.
