The National Commission on Fighting Corruption adopted the national strategy for combating corruption.
The move came at a meeting of the commission last night under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab with several ministers and senior State officials participating.
The policy includes outlining goals and programs along with mechanisms for fighting corruption and minimizing its harmful effects on the society and disseminating public awareness against corruption.
The strategy is aimed at establishing the principle of transparency and fair-handed dealings by civil servants and passing laws that fight corruption and guarantee prompt application of justice.
