The Egyptian parliamentary experiment proved the ability of the Arab nations to practice democracy, said Al Azhar in a statement on Sunday. 

Al Azhar, meanwhile, congratulated President , Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal and all members of the parliament on the occasion marking the 150th anniversary of the inception of parliamentary life in Egypt. 

The Egyptian parliamentary experiment gave a unique model in entrenching basics of the parliamentary life, which inspired the Arab and African nations, added Al Azhar. 

Al Azhar further affirmed support to the will of the Egyptian people and their choices.
