Cairo - MENA
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab chaired on Wednesday a Cabinet meeting to discuss a number of economic and social files.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mahlab congratulated the new ministers on their new posts and thanked their predecessors for the efforts they exerted during the past period.
During the meeting, Mahlab called for solving issues of butane gas and petroleum products as soon as possible.
Supply Minister Khalid Hanafy said that additional quantities of butane gas were pumped across Egypt.
He blamed a rumor of increasing petroleum products' prices for the diesel oil crisis in Egypt.
