Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has praised the role played by the Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism.
The remarks were made during Mahlab's tour of the building of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) in downtown Cairo.
The Armed Forces play a significant role in fighting terror in Sinai, the prime minister said.
The Egyptian people highly appreciate this role, he noted.
Mahlab paid tribute to the soldiers killed in today's attacks in Sinai.
He inspected a number of studios and held talks with Maspero staff.
The premier called on the employees to restore the distinguished status of the Egyptian TV.
