Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Sunday sent a letter of thanks to residents of Fayyoum's Snurs town for confronting terror acts.
The residents managed to prevent several attempts by members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood to target power transformers and cut off tourist roads in conjunction with the fourth anniversary of the January 25 revolution.
Residents arrested a MB rioter with an automatic weapon in his possession and helped police to arrest other rioter.
