Security agencies continued efforts to arrest members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and their followers who are engaged in acts of violence and incitement.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Interior said 49 persons were arrested in various governorates during the past 24 hours including two in Sharqiya on charges of possessing materials used in making bombs.
The arrested were referred to the prosecution to take legal measures against them.
