Sharqiya Governor Reda Abdel-Salam held a meeting Saturday with the governorate's executive leaderships to prepare for the parliamentary elections and review the progress realized in water and sanitation projects.

During the meeting, Abdel-Salam ordered leaderships to be neutral to all candidates, cautioning that strict measures will be taken against any violators.

He ordered finalizing all projects included as part of the current fiscal year investment plan. About 247 million pounds are allocated for the projects.
