The Higher Elections Commission said on Saturday that it has approved requests from five international organizations to follow up the parliamentary elections slated for March.
The committee said in a statement that it has also approved applications of 63 Egyptian civil society organizations to oversee the polls.
The committee noted that it is still receiving requests from Egyptian and international organizations, rather than the NGOs, to monitor the elections.
