Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Dr. Mohammed Shaker met with heads of electricity production companies, within the framework of periodic follow-up of their performance indicators.

The meeting tackled a number of issues, topped by the maintenance work of production companies and necessary measures to avoid problems, Shaker said in a statement of the ministry Sunday.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Electricity Minister Osama Asran, Chairman of Electricity Holding Company Eng. Gaber Desouky, Undersecretary for Developing Performance and Political Communication at Ministry of Electricity & Renewable Energy Sabah Mashaly and the full-time member of the production companies Mahmoud al Naqib.

This meeting comes within the framework of the efforts exerted by the energy and electricity sector to secure the power supply and to improve the level of services provided to subscribers and investors.
