Khartoum - MENA
Sudanese President Omar al Bashir said on Wednesday that eliminating the armed rebellion in Darfur tops the country's priorities.
"The Armed Forces are able to bring back stability and security to Darfur," he told a rally in Geneina the capital of West Darfur state, where he was launching his campaign for the presidential election.
Bashir stressed the importance of development in Darfur, vowing to end the weapons chaos by armed movements.
