Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi discussed Friday with Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane, who is currently visiting Tunisia, means of promoting joint cooperation.

Essebsi underlined that Tunisian-Moroccan relations are unique and historical.

In statements after the meeting, Benkirane said that his talks with Essebsi highlighted the two countries' desire to enhance bilateral relations.

The get-together was also attended by Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid.
