Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Sudan Tomas Ulicny met on Wednesday with member of the Sudanese National Council for Child Welfare Amal Mahmoud.

During the meeting, Ulicny called for ending the phenomenon of child marriages and stopping violence against women in the Arab country.

A national strategy was developed to put an end to child marriages in Sudan, Mahmoud said.
