Israeli authorities allowed Monday a group of families of the prisoners in the Gaza Strip to visit their relatives in Eshil Israeli Prison.

As many as 15 of the families including four kids headed for Erez crossing to visit seven prisoners, Spokesman of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Sohir Zaqout said.

About 6,500 Palestinian prisoners, including 400 from Gaza, are held in Israeli jails.
