The Families of Islamists detained at Lebanon's Roumieh prison cut off a highway at Abou Ali River roundabout on Friday, local media reported.

They called to let them see their sons and provide medical assistance to those in need.

The army imposed a security cordon in the scene, and diverted traffic to other routes, before the highway was reopened later.
