Spokesman for Fatah movement Raafat al-Ayan called on Wednesday for facing calls by Israeli extremist groups to storm al Aqsa mosque by force.

In a statement, al-Ayan urged the Palestinian people to head for the mosque and protect it against the Israeli occupation forces.

He stressed that Israel will pay the price for such calls.
