The Fatah Central Committee rejected any partial agreements that would separate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank under any pretext.

During a meeting in Ramallah Tuesday under President Mahmoud Abbas, the committee said that such separation was sought by the Israeli side, stressing commitment to the Cairo agreement which ended the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian enclave.

Committee member Nabil Abu Rdeinah said any deal to separate Gaza from the West Bank will be disastrous to the Palestinians and their cause.
