The Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah" voiced support for the Egyptian people, army and leadership in their fight against terrorism.

"Fatah considers terrorist acts on Egypt's army and pillars of the state are a direct attack on Palestine and its fair cause," Fatah Spokesman Ahmed Assaf said in a press statement on Thursday.

Such acts are a plot aiming at undermining Egypt's role in the region, Assaf said.

He voiced confidence that Egypt's army is able to wipe out terrorism.
