Syrian opposition forces said on Sunday that at least three fighters from the Lebanese group Hezbollah were killed in clashes with opposition forces in Zabadani area in the Damascus countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement Sunday the Syrian army backed by the Lebanese group achieved some gains on the ground.

It pointed out that death toll among the opposition fighters rose to 7.
