Matrouh security forces arrested a felon Thursday who was wanted over the killing of a police officer in February.
The felon was also wanted over other six charges in the upper Egyptian province of Sohag.
The officer, Mazen Ibrahim, was shot dead early in February while leading a security campaign in Kafr El Dawar, Behiera.
A group of gunmen attacked the officer's patrol using machine guns. One of the attackers was nabbed on the spot after an exchange of fire with the criminals.
