A 100-member delegation of the Free Egyptians Party (FEP) paid on Tuesday a visit to the site of the new Suez Canal project.
The delegation comprised a number of senior officials in the party.
A local official said the visit aims at getting acquainted with the latest developments in the project.
The delegation listened to a detailed explanation on the digging work in the project.
Till now, 150 million cubic meters have been dug at the newly-launched Suez Canal project.
