The civil defense forces in Sharqia managed to control a fire that broke out at the health insurance branch adjacent to "el Mabarra" hospital in Zagazig.

The medical equipment caught fire with no casualties reported.

Sharqia Security Chief Khaled Mohie received notification about the eruption of fire.

Initial investigation revealed that the fire erupted in a store full of medical equipment in the seventh floor.

For his part, the General Director of the Health Insurance Branch in Sharqia Hisham Abdel Hafiez said that the fire did not disrupt work at the hospital, adding that it might have been caused by a short circuit.

The general prosecution was notified to open a probe.
