Sharqiya civil defense forces contained a huge fire that broke out a 10th of Ramadan mattresses factory that left five workers injured.
The fire has totally damaged the factory and its equipment and the losses might be estimated at millions of pounds.
Sharqiya Security Chief General Sameh Kilani said the fire was contained after several hours of attempts by the firefighters to extinguish it.
The fire started at a main production hall and quickly extended to other parts by the chemicals and fiber materials found in the factory.
A technical committee was formed to determine the cause of the fire and assess the value of the losses.
