The Director of the General Administration of Transportation Police Mohamed Youssef underlined that the fire that broke out in an electric cable between "Mohamed Naguib" and "Sadat" underground Metro stations was controlled.

No casualties were reported, he noted.

Youssef told MENA that the fire resulted in halting the train movement for four minutes, adding that it is normal now.
